After trying to conceive for several years I sought the help of a Fertility Doctor. We tried unsuccessfully several times with Artificial Insemination before our Doctor suggested I undergo exploratory surgery since there was ‘no obvious reason’ why I couldn’t conceive (I already had a son.) Frightened at the prospect of exploratory surgery, I decided that I would try a holistic route first. My husband, the skeptic, was not thrilled with my decision, but I convinced him that I would only try for 6 months before going back to the Fertility Doctor. I obtained Susanna Eun’s name through a colleague of my Aunt, and within the week began treatment with her. I am thrilled to say that in less than four months time I conceived and ultimately gave birth to a son. A few years later I sought help from Susanna and again was blessed with a child, this time a girl. I can honestly say that my acupuncture treatments are the biggest reasons why I was able to conceive. My blood pressure was perfect, my ‘energy’ was high, and I felt better than I ever did when I was under her care! Before visiting the Allendale Acupuncture Center, I suffered with chronic severe sinusitis for 15+ years. Since I had allergies during every season - dust mites, pollen, grasses, mold - I was constantly on prescription nose sprays, antibiotics, and steroids. Even two years of allergy shots did not help. Within one week of treatment at the Allendale Acupuncture Center, I began to experience relief from my sinus pressure and headaches. Within 2 months I felt like a brand new person. I first met Susanna in 2004 when I was pregnant with my second child. I was bloated and had painful sciatica, both of which were immediately relieved through acupuncture, CST, and NMT. Since then I’ve been coming to Allendale Acupuncture regularly for allergy relief, chronic low back pain (which has all but disappeared through acupuncture), stress, cold and flu symptoms, and most recently for inflammation of the rotator cuff (shoulder).
